PocketMonitor Privacy Policy

Palank ("we", "us", or "our") operates the PocketMonitor application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect any personal information directly. The App does not require account creation, login, email, name, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

The App monitors device status information (CPU usage, RAM usage, battery temperature, storage space) solely for display on your device's dashboard. This data is processed and stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

2. Information Collected by Third-Party SDKs

The App includes third-party SDKs that automatically collect certain data:

2-1. Google AdMob (Advertising)

2-3. On-Device Data (Not Collected)

The following information is processed only on your device for dashboard display and is never transmitted externally:

24-hour temperature history (in-memory only, deleted when app closes)
Daily/weekly report content (displayed as local notifications only)

3. How We Use Information

AdMob data: To display advertisements and measure ad performance
Crashlytics data: To identify and fix app crashes and improve stability
On-device monitoring data: To display device health information on the dashboard (local only)

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties directly. However, the SDKs included in the App transmit data to the following parties:

5. International Data Transfer

Data collected by third-party SDKs is transferred to and processed by Google LLC in the United States. All data transfers are encrypted in transit using TLS.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

On-device data: Automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.
AdMob data: Managed by Google per their retention policies. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings > Google > Ads.
Crashlytics data: Automatically deleted from Google servers after 90 days.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Opt out of personalized ads: Android Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
Reset Advertising ID: Android Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID
Delete all local data: Uninstall the App

8. Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 14 in South Korea). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Data Security

All data transmitted by third-party SDKs (AdMob, Crashlytics) is protected by TLS encryption.
On-device monitoring data is stored only in the App's private memory and is not accessible to other apps.
We do not operate any servers, eliminating server-side data breach risks.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to changes in law, policy, or App functionality. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
